Let me introduce you to Fanci and she is exactly that. Fanci is a registered 2018 model American Paint Horse Mare known as TLC FANCI BAR SLIDE. (Papers are in hand). She will catch the eye of anyone that she meets. Her unique buckskin overo coloring makes her the pick out of many other horses. I have gotten hundreds of compliments on this mare's coloring and conformation when performing at shows or riding the trails. Pictures do not do her justice. Her sire was a thoroughbred stallion that won $193,507 with 42 starts: 7 firsts, 4 seconds, and 5 thirds. Her sire’s side is filled with winners on the tracks and the dam’s side is full of beautiful horses with correct conformation. Fanci herself has inherited the best traits from both of her parents. She stands 15.3 hands and has a nice build to her as she is lean and muscular with long legs that produce an unbelievable stride. Fanci has an unbelievable stop, excellent backup and engages her hind end, side passes, lopes nice circles, and loads well (I have not had her in a two-horse trailer: we trailer in-stock trailers and multiple horse slants we do have someone stand behind her from time to time to apply pressure but this has gotten better with her being hauled on a daily basis!), backs up to unload and corrects her lead every single time. Has been used 30 days in the feed yard pushing cattle, 60 days in the sale barn moving cattle to load out, has been started on the barrel pattern and she is very eager to pick up speed. She competed in her first KWHA horse show this past weekend in Bennington Kansas. She did amazing and even placed first in the western pleasure class. She competed in several speed events that she has never seen before and did great. Will be going back this coming weekend to compete again. She tacks up great, untacks perfectly, bathes, at the horse show she stands tied all day when waiting on her event and never fusses, she can be left alone or with other horses, she is not marish and I have a yearling stud colt that I have ponied off her several times and she had no funny business when it came to this, does not kick or bite, picks up on four feet, does currently have shoes on due to rough riding when checking cattle and also riding on concrete from time to time at the sale barn. The only imperfection on this mare is a small blue dot in her left eye, but the vet has cleared that it does NOT affect her vision. She poked it when she was a spunky foal and this does not stop her in any way shape or form. I would consider her an intermediate because she does have some speed to her and needs a soft set of hands. On August 2nd, 2022, she represented JEM farms in the Salina Tri-Rivers Parade which can also be seen in the video. She did amazing and never made one wrong move. She is 110% traffic safe, and, in the parade, she encountered policemen riding bikes, load honking, fireworks, and several screaming children coming up to pet her. Sells 100% sound! This is a once-in-a-lifetime horse that is young and ready to take you anywhere! Amazing opportunity for someone that wants a horse they can do absolutely anything with. The western pleasure one day, checking cattle the next, and maybe a rodeo competition on the weekend….she will be a master of all.
