Description
Are you looking for the ultimate trail partner? Wanting a Ranch Pleasure prospect? In need of your next rope horse or ranching partner? Look NO further!!! Scoobie is a 12-year-old, red dun gelding. He has a dorsal stripe, is 15.2 hands tall and built to last, registered in the American Quarter Horse Association. He has Doc’s Hickory and Okie Leo in his pedigree. He is flashy, fancy broke, and safe for the whole family. He is the sweetest, most gorgeous boy. You will ride him one time, and no doubt fall in love with him. Scoobie is easy to catch – he comes to YOU out in the pasture! He is soft in the mouth and can be ridden bridleless, double, rides out alone or in a group. He goes wherever you point him. He has wonderful ground manners. Scoobie was raised and used as a ranch horse in Whitesboro, Texas until he was 10 years old. He has been trail ridden the past two years across the Black Hills of South Dakota, open range of Wyoming, mountains of Colorado, on trails around Kentucky Lake, and several places in Missouri. He crosses water, logs, rocks, absolutely no problem. Very sure footed and steady. He stands to be saddled, bridled, bathed, shod, and for mounting and dismounting. Absolutely no bite, kick, or rear. He self-loads in the trailer. He has spent the past 60 days at the trainer for a tune up and getting in great shape. As you can see in the video, he gives absolutely no fits and puts hard work in no matter what his job is. His trot is smooth, he has a rocking chair canter and stops on a dime. If you want him to get up and go, he can do that too! He loves to be around people and has no problems with dogs, cars, ATV’s, and kids. You can throw a rope off him one day, jump him the next. He is the ultimate versatile horse. Scoobie is as honest as they come, and no doubt will make you a lifetime partner. He is up to date on Coggins, vaccines, and worming. At his vet check, he was found healthy and sound. No vices or maintenance. Easy keeper. He does have all four shoes but can go barefoot no problem. 100% sound. A good home is a must. The ONLY reason for selling is to make room for a gaited horse that was just purchased. Located in Foristell, MO. For more information, call Diane at (636) 262-3591.
