Ekco is a beautiful 6-year-old grullo-roan gelding that stands just over 14.3 and is looking for a new barn. He is a solidly built mount that can carry any size rider
He is 100% sound, great confirmation is currently wearing front shoes.
He stands for farrier, floats, tacking up, bathing, vet checks, mount, dismount, etc.
He has been extensively trail-ridden and has been on countless camping trips including up to Benezette, PA. Take him out alone or in a group. He has been in a field with mares and geldings and prefers either. This is an in-your-pocket type of horse and is always the first to greet you at the gate. He has ridden with dogs his whole life and also is safe around ATVs, Cars, and other traffic.
I bought him as an unbroke 2-year-old, and we have come a long way since day 1. Ekco is being listed for an intermediate rider and above, he is ALL work-oriented and is very quick! I believe he would excel in the cutting or sorting world or all-day ranch work.
He loves to work, is a quick learner and very handy, light in the bridle and spur trained, and definitely is the kind of horse that can go all day and night.
He is up to date on Coggins, deworming, and sheath cleaning. Was floated September 17th – 2021
