Description
Deacon is your next best purchase. He is a 7-year-old black and white paint gelded quarter horse. He served as a therapeutic horse for a paraplegic young adult. Unfortunately, the family grew tired of the upkeep and per having a hand in his training he was offered to me. Deacon is a been there done that horse. You can ride him through anything, shoot sometimes I ride him sideways. He has been exposed to rivers, unsure riders, critters in the woods, and the occasional curious dog. Deacon is well suited for a beginner rider, as he has more woah than go. Deacon enjoys transition through his walk trot canter but what he enjoys most is playing in the river. He has a smooth trot and lope that are perfect for new riders trying to understand the feel for a sitting trot or canter. He does have a scar on his rear hind leg from his previous pasture. It causes no pain or mobility issues. Deacon is a friendly feller who wants to be friends with all and any horse around. Will ride and get along with a gaited and currently has all four shoes on. Though he might be the low man on the totem pole he doesn’t lash at anyone.
