“Big Jake” is a beautiful tri-color paint Draft Cross gelding. He is 16.1 hands tall and weighs 1400+ pounds. He wears between a size 3 and 4 shoe. He is big but is a gentle giant. He is a sweetheart. He is broke well and he will one hand neck rein. He is really handy even with his size. He is a seasoned trail riding veteran. He has been ridden in several states and he is the same gentle and dependable horse every time you put your saddle on. He rides bareback if you can climb upon him. He will ride through the woods and thick brush. He will cross water and trudge through the mud. He is very safe. He is broke to drive. He rides well in the arena and he has jumped 3-foot fences. You can trail ride him all day Saturday and hook him to your buggy for a drive on Sunday. He loads and hauls well. He is good in the pasture or in the stall. Everyone seems to be looking for a Draft Cross and you won’t find one any nicer than this big guy. He has a good disposition. You won’t ride him anywhere that someone won’t comment on what nice horse that he is. He is traffic safe if you ride on the road. He is such a fun horse. He is definitely one that anyone no matter what size can ride all day long.
